Ahw, if it wasn’t for the daily near death experiences with bicyclists, I’d really love Amsterdam <3
My flight from London to Amsterdam was delayed for over an hour. Got up at 3 am to be at the airport in time, just to still sit there at noon. (still uploading the blog about London but I have mostly video’s an haven’t figured out how to upload video yet)
But my airBnB was super central and – bonuspoints – had a cat! I’m kinda afraid of cats but also love them to pieces! Anyone feel me? Sneaking in a selfie as well cause I always got so excited when I saw “my” filter popping up in the area.
As soon as I arrived I immediately started my routine again. Location scouting.
I mostly know what I’m looking for, so I usually don’t have to walk rounds through the whole city however for Amsterdam my goal was to fine “prettiest bridge” ha. So I actually DID walk by the river for hours to inspect one bridge after another.
Heading home by train the day after the shoot. London and Amsterdam were one trip. 5 days and 2 shoots and in between I was either traveling or location scouting. Exhausting but such an accomplishment in hindsight 🙂
Still, I was so happy to be on my train. Last time for a while (until Milan a month later) that I had to carry this insanely huge suitcase with my signs. I’ve grown attached to it though. weird.
